As spring comes ever closer, and the expectation of the first rains  becomes stronger, there is a air of excitement at the Plaas.

We will return to the Plaas to catch up with the changes over the years. It now has new owners who have converted the house to a Guest House. The koppie and the gardens are still there, and although there is no feed tray there is still plenty of birdlife.

The koppie now stands bare as the absence of late rain has caused all the leaves to drop. The gardens, regularly watered as they always have been, are still lush.
